London Lovebox Weekender

The London Lovebox Weekender was the BEST music festival a city could ever give to a girl like me. Lovebox introduced me Tiny Dancers, my new favorite boy band. It gave me an amazing set by the B52s and an opportunity to experience Blondie live and in person. I was buzzing with happiness for days afterwards. The festival had everything, including a teeny tiny ping-pong table, pictured to the left. The rest of the photos are of the old-school artists that sang to my soul. The last photo is me, in all my happy lovebox glory, waiting to see Blondie. Yes, Blondie.

The B52s did the best live show of all the bands saw. They were so the same as they were in 1980! The energy, the sound, the dancing.... They blew my mind. I want to be in their band. Rock Lobster!

Blondie was a bad ass. She looked good, she sounded good, and seeing her was surreal. She is a pop goddess.

The crowd was massive, friendly and nice to me even though I was probably the oldest person in it.
