Out of Penge and into a Palace
Okay, so I didn't really move into a Palace exactly, but I did move into a new flat in a new part of London that is impressively nick-named Crystal Palace after a park in the neighborhood. Surprisingly, there is a building in Texas that replicates the building Crystal Palace Park was named for. You can see that my new building looks suspicious like Public Housing.
Yes, ahhhh, yep. That's because it is public housing but most of it is privately owned. It's cheap, it's community oriented, it's inhabitants are diverse in every way, it offers me an incredible view of central London, and although I have been here just one week now, it makes me happy.
I have 2 flatmates with whom I share this flat. They are fun, fabulous boys. One is a cab driver for the rich and famous and the other is a Polish immigrant who is going to give me language lessons. Lets call this move to Crystal Palace phase II of my London adventures.
Pictures of the boys to come.
