Back to Cambridge

Did I mention that a while back I took a day trip to Cambridge? Lovely town. So many Universities that I couldn't see them all. I finally got the pics downloaded so I thought I would post a few. The Punters were my fav.

I imagine at dusk Nick Drake’s lanky and lonely ghost traveling along the misted Cambridge canals… again wonderful pix…

Thanks for checking out my evolving site. The lyrics... I wish I were a poet… I am in stupefied awe of people who can coordinate words to express themselves, sometimes cryptically, and have others gain insight or wisdom or derive meaning somehow from them. I see poems intimately crafted equations attempting to be solved.

You said were in a band in Minneapolis. Would I have heard of it or seen your CD at the Electric Fetus or Let It Be (RIP)? Did you play the 400, Triple Rock, the Fine Line or First Ave?

New York is an odd lover; I am intoxicated every day with intermittent sounds and blurs of lights and figures I’ve never seen before but challenged by the maddening undertow that doesn’t really care if I participate. I may have to get her out of my system sooner than later and be back in the Minneapolis but we’ll see. I felt a pure buzz my 1st year here. I’m sure you feel similar in London and Europe, in general, after your first full day, of course ;-)

I dig your site since you are honestly telling of your experiences abroad in a diary with photos and people like me can recall our European experiences plus it is fun to see how much you are enjoying yourself.

I'd better stop my blog babbling for now... As they say in your part of the world, Cheerio...
